The film serves as a sequel to M3GAN and per the film’s synopsis, “Two years after the events of M3GAN, Gemma has become an author and advocate for regulation of artificial intelligence. M3GAN’s technology has been stolen and used by a defense contractor to create a spy robot called Amelia, who becomes self-aware and set on AI takeover.
